The 9th International Conference on Cyber Conflict, CyCon 2017, took place in Tallinn from May 30th to June 2nd 2017, joining altogether nearly 600 key experts and decision-makers of the global cyber defence community. CyCon has developed into a unique event, bringing together the different tribes of cyber defence – techies, lawyers, researchers, policy advisors, industry experts, government officials and military top brass.

Opening address of the event was made by the President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid. CyCon is organised by the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence, a Tallinn-based knowledge hub, research institution, and training and exercise centre. The international military organisation is a community of nations providing a 360-degree look at cyber defence, with expertise in the areas of technology, strategy, operations and law.
